Become A Polyglot
Norway
Приєднався 25 тра 2016
Hey, how's it going? My name is Bjørn. I run the blog BecomeAPolyglot.com
I am an aspiring polyglot - currently speaking Norwegian, English and Italian. Recently I started to learn French (instead of Russian - which I might return to later)
I hope you'll visit my Patreon channel (se the link below)!
There you can find a lot of good tips and advice on how to learn a new language.
See you on the site!

Geat lesson! I need to know Norwegian, my grand chidren live there!
Takk sir, Mitt naun er Rishabh.
Tusen takk.
How do you differentiate between words like ull and øl? Is it purely contextual, or is there a slightly different pronunciation to them that non native speakers might have trouble detecting?
Å B C D E F G H I J K L M O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
you pronounce the word pronunciation as [pronounciation] = incorrect
Learnt alot thanks ❤
It's really annoying how ugly those stickers are. I wish they made them more transparent instead of murky and shiny:( I'm sitting here with my brand new MacBook and a set of these stickers and it physically hurts me to think I'm about to mess up this nice keyboard with these ugly stickers:(
Easy solution is to buy key caps and swap them out.
Takk✨

Hello. I am so happy for learning this language. And these lessons a way more useful to learn.
Thanks for posting these. Very helpful. I know this is four years old now, so perhaps you won't see this or are busier with more important things these days; however, if you ever find time to dive a bit deeper into what I think a lot of people may struggle with: the 'ng' pronunciation seems to be specific to Scandinavian languages and is VERY difficult to pronounce/comprehend. For example, "mange". I hear you say it and even hear my Swedish and Norwegian friends make this exact same sound occasionally when they speak English as well, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the sound myself. I may be asking you to explain something that will only come with practice though. If you DO think you can explain how this sound is made in more detail though, it would be much appreciated. Either way, thank you for the content.
Takk👍🏻

Fantastisk video. Takk

For the record you may want to update your video. There are two Cyrillic alphabet (typing systems). You need to get the PY QWERTY sticky template. In your video you superimpose on the QWERTY keyboard the traditional Russian JCUKEN (йцукеню). You want the sticky (яшерты) for the QWERTY. Otherwise, you did help me switch my keyboard to the Cyrillic alphabet... thanks! simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/JCUKEN

Tusen takk 👍🏻
Great, I'm doing Norwegian on duolingo but it leaves many things unexplained. You've got a new subscriber 🎉

I am very happy that I found your channel. You have excellent spoken and presentation skills. You speaks so clearly, friendly and very welcoming voice which makes it not just easy for beginners like me to learn, but also makes the learners more eager to learn and not loose interests in continuing the the lessons. Thank you so much for your generosity in helping people learn effectively the Norwegian language.
More about the pronounciation would help so much - thank you!
In ‘ Eg ringer deg ikke’ “ikke” is not an adverb if it translates with ‘ not’ , it is negation of the verb, an adverb would be ‘ never’
Great initiative. Watching from Pakistan ❤❤
I am a near-native English speaker and a basic/intermediate level Icelandic learner and for me, quite words sound either close to English or almost the same as in Icelandic :-) One may think that will make Norwegian learning easy yet it only confuses me :-)

Nice explanation, takk!
You are the best teacher ❤
BTW why do Norwegian have silent letters
Tusen takk
